Radio Control Systems - The 2G4 Revolution!
When it comes to radio control, FM is undoubtedly better than AM. But now, for even better performance there is 2.4GHz Spread Spectrum Technology which uses virtually glitch free digital data transmission. Whilst these sets are a bit more expensive, they are far superior in performance and don’t use any crystals. It’s all done with micro-computer technology and collision avoidance software which identifies a free frequency. Also with more channels (controls), they enable operation of more controls on locomotives, other than just the regulator. E.g. Valve gear, blower, drain cocks, brakes! I can supply 2.4GHz sets by Spektrum, Futaba and Sanwa
